One of the most barren of the Cycladic
Islands offers few days of rest and relaxation to the weary traveller.
Visited mostly by Greeks and mainly Athenians who often build luxurious
summer homes. Hora or Messaria, is built on the slope of a
hill, and, as all the Cycladic Isles with the snow-white structures.
The stone-paved narrow streets, churches, arches and windmills, tries desperately to preserve the authentic Cycladic character.
Merihas is the port of the Island (7 miles from Hora), and offers a beautiful white-sand beach.
